No, you can use it for courses and funnels only if you want to keep your website or blog somewhere else. But we love Kajabi so much that we recommend eventually moving your site to Kajabi for simplicity. Totally up to you!

To start, we want you to know that we have used and tested over 30 different online business platforms over the years. After all that, we have chosen to ONLY work in Kajabi - which says a lot.

Originally, we used WordPress a lot because of the customization ability, but over time, we found that it took way longer to build in, and when we handed it over to clients, they eventually had problems updating it. Plus, with WordPress, you’ll need many other apps to run your business as well, and that means integrations that can break, etc.

In regards to other platforms like Thinkific & Teachable, we actually like them, but they require you have your funnel and website somewhere else. That means more money, more integrations and less customization of the course.

We have used ClickFunnels with clients in the past, but we’re not impressed. It has many design limitations and it’s course options are well - pathetic.

And there is another new “all-in-one” platform called Kartra. On the surface, it looks to be good, but we recommend you STEER CLEAR. The people that built it are great marketers, but aren’t great at customer service. And the feature list looks good until you find out that everything has less  functionality than you need it to. For instance, their courses are really just limited to a few features.

No other major course platform allows you this many options without having to build it from scratch! (Building from scratch can take a ton of time and money.)
